So I'm a terrible blogger. 

I haven't posted in ages and I haven't had my camera out in weeks.   We were away on holidays for almost three weeks and  I feel like I've been running around one step behind, trying to catch up ever since.  Not that I really mind being busy.   Busy works for me right now. 

Since I haven't posted an update in quite a while, here it is (and it's pretty great!):

I've been to the cancer centre twice since I've been home and to see another specialist for a biopsy on my leg.   My CT scan and my biopsy came back normal.  I'm so incredibly thankful.  I feel like I can breathe again.  I went in for two more biopsies last week and I won't have the results until July but I'm hoping and praying they too will be normal.

The back pain and pelvic pain I was having are still there but nowhere near as bad as they were a couple of months ago.   It looks like I'll have to have surgery to have my ovaries removed  to get rid of the pain (caused by scar tissue and cysts) but my oncologist is leaving it up to me to decide when I want to have it done.  Right now I think I'll live with the pain since I really don't want to deal with sudden and complete menopause or recovering from surgery again (not fun!).

I still have to go to the urologist this week for a scope and other tests but I'm hoping my bladder pain is related to scar tissue too.

So overall some pretty great news!

We had a fantastic time on our trip, came home and found ourselves suddenly busy with soccer, diving, taking the girls to rehearsals for a play they're in, making costumes (why do I volunteer myself for these things?!), renovating our basement (never ending project) and keeping up with the homeschooling (thank goodness for homeschooling, I have no idea how we'd fit a regular school day into this ridiculous schedule!).

I've made a promise to myself to take my camera out at least once a day even if it's only for a few minutes.  I'm signing up for one of the Big Picture classes again,  Picture Color with Tracey Clark.   A photo prompt a day for the month of June.  Hopefully that will help keep me motivated.   It starts tomorrow, anyone want to join me?
