Birthday Girl

My Baby girl is 10.  Ten!!  Double digits.  A decade old.  She's smart and sweet and strong.  Most importantly she's kind and cares about others.  That last quality is at the top of my list of important characteristics to help nurture and grow in both of my girls.

As I write this post she's busy making a list.  Included on this list are:

5 pairs of socks
3 grocery store gift cards
3 blankets
2 sets of mittens, scarves and hats
3 Tim's gift cards
3 Walmart gift cards
Bus pass

She's researched and determined that the items on this list will cost about $488.  That's the amount she's going to raise to buy these things and give them out to people on the street.  That much $$ will be hard for her to raise but if anyone can figure out a way, I know she can!  Did I mention she's also an amazing problem solver?  So far she has $15 (her birthday money) so only $473 to go.  Go Ezzy go!
