It's been a long time since I've blogged. I stopped writing for a while because I was starting to feel like I only had a string of health problems to share along with an overwhelming feeling of being consumed by the busy-ness of life. Just sharing pictures seemed like not enough, so I took a break.
I've decided it's time to carve out a little time for myself, to take the word "busy" out of my vocabulary and to turn my "to do list" upside down. The things at the bottom were things for myself (including photography) and sadly a list of friends to connect with that I haven't been able to find the time to call/email etc.
When I stop, step back and look at my list I can see that I've had it all wrong! If I don't look after myself and connect with friends and work on the personal projects that fill me with energy, I'm more likely to end up stressed, sick and burnt out.... go figure!
I've decided not to put any pressure on myself to blog on a particular schedule, but I'm definitely ready to start writing and sharing again!
I'm welcoming a fresh start this spring and everything that follows with open arms!
The first image below was snapped through the car window on our way home from North Carolina. How crazy is it that I would have my camera out, on and sitting on my lap ready to snap a picture when we passed this?!

Glad to hear you are taking time for you. I think too many of us don't recognize the necessity of that.
I wonder what that person was doing in that field? So many possibilities. :)
