It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.

Welcome friends!

I'm Tracy and this is my blog. It's a mix of photography, art, writing, and life as I see it in 2011. Enjoy!

Parallel play

I love how my family can spend time together happily, quietly doing our own thing.  I think that's one of the reasons homeschooling works so well for us.

I'm having some computer issues and need to free up some space before uploading the rest of my NYC pictures (shhh don't tell Darin I've filled the hard drive up with pictures again!).  In the meantime, here are some pictures from a couple of days before we left on our trip.  We needed a break from the house and packing so we drove to a nearby field for a couple of hours.

Darin did some kiteboarding, Isabel made a bow and arrow and played in the snow, Esmé read a book all cosy in the car and I enjoyed a cup of tea and took some pictures.

Parallel play.

Eventurally the wind picked up a little too much, the snow started blowing and gusting and we decided it was time to pack it in and head home.  It was a perfect break.

We do that too. We'll be working around the house and then just hop in the truck to get out somewhere for a quick change of scenery. So nice to get outside, even if it's a hot beverage in a nice warm car. ;)

As always, love the photo's Trace. You've still got lots of winter up there!
