Welcome friends!

I'm Tracy and this is my blog. It's a mix of photography, art, writing, and life as I see it in 2011. Enjoy!
First picture of the new year! We said good bye to 2011 and welcomed 2012 with the traditional banging of pots and pans.  The girls made sure the entire neighbourhood knew what they were up to.  When that job was done, we came inside and went straight to bed.  It's hard work staying up until midnight! 

I love the fresh start of a new year.  I hope this year is our best one yet!

ha ha!! awesome! I know someone else who does this too!
i live in a townhouse though, near mostly older people, so probably not a cool idea for my kids! lol.
I did however send them out with sparklers...and my 11 yr old annoyed me by being 'afraid' of them *eyeroll*
