It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.

Welcome friends!

I'm Tracy and this is my blog. It's a mix of photography, art, writing, and life as I see it in 2011. Enjoy!

Fringe

We've been busy with the Fringe Festival and today we're enjoying a day off.  The kids are doing a wonderful job and their hard work is paying off.   Their play is called Beowulf: User Friendly and this is the description that was used in the advertising for the show:

After an entire class fails the exam on Beowulf, their stern teacher issues a challenge- to tell her the story complete with characters, action, themes and history and you might just pass!  Monty Python meets classic literature as the students explore Beowulf with biting sarcasm and amusing stage action.

It really is quite funny and well done.  They have four shows left so let me know if you're local and would like to come see it and I'll send you the details!

I have some other news, but I need to sort out what to do about it before I share too much.  It's (mostly) good news though so nothing to worry about!  I'll share once I have more information.

Looks like the girls are having a great time. You should be a proud mama. I know that it is over now but I would have loved to have been able to enjoy Fringe more this go around, I usually am, it was just bad timing for me. Your hats look great by the way.
