It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.

Welcome friends!

I'm Tracy and this is my blog. It's a mix of photography, art, writing, and life as I see it in 2011. Enjoy!

Looking up

Today's Picture Winter prompt asked me to step outside.  I really didn't want to.   I still don't have a camera (what was I thinking?!).  It's cold and icy out there and I have a lot to do around the house to prepare for the coming week.  I'm glad I did.  The kids and dog needed the fresh air as much as I did.

I waited almost too long, it was starting to get darker but I had just enough light to shoot these, looking up.  Again with the phone.  I love my phone.  I rarely use it as a phone but it does take nice pictures.

That said, I'm dying to get my hands on a new camera.  The phone has it's limits and I didn't realize how it would feel to not have a camera, even for a short while.  I may have to go shopping this week!

Gorgeous! I love the colours. How did you sell your camera so quickly?!

I listed it on Ebay and then my dad decided to buy it from me. I'm going to teach him to use it!

So happy to find your blog via Picture Winter! That Thoreau quote is one of my all time favorites. I look forward to following your blog.
