It's not what you look at that matters, it's what you see.

Welcome friends!

I'm Tracy and this is my blog. It's a mix of photography, art, writing, and life as I see it in 2011. Enjoy!

Settling in...

I finally feel like we're settling in to this new year.  My back is still hurting but I'm calm about it now.  Keeping busy is helping and right now keeping my hands busy is a nice distraction.   I'm making myself a cowl this time, using up some soft baby Alpaca wool I've had sitting in my yarn basket for over a year.   My MRI is scheduled for February 3rd so there's nothing to do now but wait, pass the time... live.

My girls were busy with their math this morning.  It's past noon and I'm considering getting dressed for the day.  We're busy with the girl's lessons, (home)school work and other regular daily life stuff.  I'm so glad I know to stop and enjoy it.

I'm very hopeful today that my MRI will not show anything scary and that life will just continue on as normal.  I'm also hoping that this sharp focus on what is important in life will stay with me.  No matter what the results are I'm going to work very hard to keep it there.
